A Reddit post described Ukraine’s Temporary Protected Status, or TPS, as if a new decision had already ended it. The official record available to Vida Digital instead confirms that the existing Ukraine designation runs until 19 October 2026.
TPS can protect eligible people from removal and allow work authorisation for the designation period, but it is not permanent status. Each person must meet the rules, including any registration requirement, and should watch for formal DHS notices.
